Pay: $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time

Del Rosa Villa Post Acute is seeking a Full-Time Medical Records Director to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional who thrives on organization, accuracy, confidentiality, and being an essential resource to the clinical and administrative teams.

As our Medical Records Director, you’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate and complete resident medical records while supporting compliance and efficient facility operations.

What You’ll Do

• Organize, maintain, and oversee resident medical records
• Review records for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard protected health information
• Process and respond to authorized medical record requests
• Ensure records are appropriately filed, stored, and accessible to authorized personnel
• Assist with record audits and documentation reviews
• Track deficiencies and follow up on incomplete documentation
• Work closely with nursing, administration, and other departments to maintain accurate records
• Support facility compliance with applicable medical records requirements
• Maintain an organized and efficient medical records department

What We’re Looking For

• Previous medical records experience, preferably in a skilled nursing, post-acute, long-term care, or healthcare environment
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with electronic health records and general office technology
• Professional, dependable, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion
