Medical Records Assistant

The Center at Grande is looking to hire a part-time Medical Records Assistant!

Who We Are

The Center at Grande is a skilled nursing facility that serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain resident medical records and health information systems in accordance with current federal and state guidelines, as well as in accordance with our facility's established privacy policies and procedures.
• Collect, assemble, check, and file resident charts as required
• File information such as nurses' notes, resident assessments, progress notes, etc., into resident charts
• Index medical records as directed by the Medical Records Director
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in computer operations, typing, and electronic health record (EHR) software.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

• Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information.
