About the role

The Lumus Imaging team inKeperra are looking for aMedical Receptionist to join their friendly, supportive and well-established team. This role is available on a permanent full-time basis; however, we also welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time or casual opportunities.

Working hours are between 8:00am and 5:10pm, Monday to Friday, with the successful candidate primarily based at our Keperra clinic and the opportunity to work shifts across our North Brisbane network if desired.

We are open to applicants from all backgrounds and experience levels. Previous medical reception experience is not essential, as comprehensive training, onboarding and ongoing support will be provided. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play an essential role in the patient experience, acting as the first point of contact for patients, referrers and practitioners. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing reception and administrative support, managing appointments and enquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service both face-to-face and over the phone. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and is comfortable learning new systems and technology.

• Customer service and care
• Make exam bookings
• MRI Bookings
• General Clerical Duties
• Patient record management
• Medicare billing and banking
