About the role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll set the tone for their entire visit. Your day will include:
- Welcoming patients and managing arrivals with warmth and efficiency
- Scheduling and confirming appointments across multiple imaging modalities
- Processing Medicare, DVA, private health and hospital billing accurately
- Handling phone and email enquiries from patients, referrers and hospital wards
- Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting smooth department flow
- Working closely with clinical staff and hospital teams to keep the day running seamlessly
About you
- Previous experience in reception or customer service. Medical, hospital or radiology experience is a bonus, but not essential
- A warm, calm and professional manner, especially with patients who may be anxious or unwell
- Strong attention to detail and confidence with computer systems
- Great communication skills and a genuine team-player attitude
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced hospital environment
