Medical Lab Scientist

Start Date: ASAP
Scheduled details: Manager will take 8hrs (2200-0630/2300-0730), 10hrs (2000-0630/2100-0730), or 12hrs (1800-0630/1900-0730) | Will be training on day shift for the first 3-4 weeks
Experience Required: 1 year of experience as Medical Lab Scientist - Hematology & Chemistry experience required | This is for a chemistry specific role and requires 3-4 weeks training on the dayshift
Experience Preferred: Experience with  Instruments: Beckman automation line, AU 5800, AU 680, DxH 900, DxH 800, DxI 800, Cobas e801, TOP720, ABL 825 FLEX, Iris Velocity, Iris iQ200            
Software: Beaker and AMS	
License /Certification Required: An active MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist) certification from ASCP
Floating Requirements: None
Weekend Requirements: Required, every other Friday and Saturday night. If contractor would like to work weekends only, that 
would be helpful. Friday-Monday night.
On-Call Requirements: None
Holiday Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Orientation: Will attend KU NEO the Monday and Tuesday of the starting week 8a-4:30p
Creds Due: Monday one week prior to Monday start
Notes: Nicotine free facility; bi-weekly pay | 8hr non billable ori | Client is allowed the cancelation of two shifts per month at no cost to the client and no pay to the THP. Will provide a minimum 2 hours notice.
