Pay Range: $25 - $28/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process medical claims and billing documents for payment or denial.
  • Research claims to verify supporting documentation and ensure information is complete and accurate.
  • Analyze claim details and apply applicable benefits criteria to determine appropriate payment or denial outcomes.
  • Review and adjust claim data as needed to resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigate and respond to questions, concerns, and issues raised by members and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate claim records and follow established processing procedures.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve claim-related issues in a timely manner.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in medical claims processing, healthcare billing, insurance claims, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with medical claims review, claims documentation, and payment processing.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to handle claims-related inquiries professionally.
