Media Specialist II

Position Title: Media Specialist II

Location: Newport, RI

Clearance required: SECRET

Scope of Work: Provides mid-level Media Center engineering and operations support, maintaining and troubleshooting VTC and audiovisual systems and supporting cryptographic equipment for classified sessions.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot Media Center and VTC hardware systems 

• Conduct diagnostic troubleshooting, fault isolation, and corrective maintenance 

• Support cryptographic keying material loading, testing, and troubleshooting 

• Prepare Media Center system designs, drawings, and topology maps 

Qualifications

• Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level. 
• Mid-level Media Center engineering and VTC troubleshooting skills 
• Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
