Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $100K-$120K
Exp: 4-10 years

What you will do:
- Develop and execute detailed mechanical validation test plans for wearables, covering different areas of lifecycle testing.
- Define validation scope, objectives, and deliverables for each product phase (from prototype to production).
- Set up and maintain test fixtures, equipment, and prototype devices for validation activities.
- Work with design, hardware, and manufacturing teams to align on validation requirements and schedules.
- Participate in design reviews, provide feedback on mechanical robustness, and suggest design improvements based on test results.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to identify failure modes and root causes.
- Document and communicate test results, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive validation documentation and dashboards (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Drive resolution of mechanical issues by collaborating with engineering teams during validation phases.
- Proactively unblock teams and adjust focus areas to ensure timely issue closure.
- Contribute to process improvements in validation methodologies, test automation, and lab infrastructure.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in mechanical validation for wearables.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical validation or testing, preferably in consumer electronics or wearables.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical test methods (drop, shock, vibration, thermal, humidity, IP, etc.).
- Experience with test equipment, data acquisition systems, and failure analysis.
- Familiarity with product development cycles (proto to PVT) and cross-functional project execution.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
