Mechanical QA Inspector

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Quality Inspector to work in the Columbus, Ohio, area.  This is a contract to direct hire position on second shift.  

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical inspection experience in metal fabrication/machining.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with inspection hand tools and computers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CMM experience preferred.

Skills

• Understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensioning (GDT).
• Convert metric to English measurements and fractions to decimals.
• Read and interpret technical drawings/specs.
• Familiarity with calibration systems and statistical techniques.
• Conduct material inspections and determine product disposition.
• Complete certifications accurately.
• Use handheld inspection equipment and program CMM.
• Calibrate measuring equipment.

• Prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Work independently and in a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform various movements.
• Good communication skills.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
