Our engineering services client is seeking aMechanical Process Engineer to design and deliver utility systems for industrial facilities. This role will lead process engineering efforts, support multidisciplinary project teams, and serve as a technical resource throughout project execution. This position is based inGreen Bay, WI. Remote consideration may be available for qualified U.S.-based candidates who can travel as needed to support client projects, field work, and team collaboration.
 
Job Type: Direct Hire
Location: Green Bay, WI (Remote Considered)
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and engineer industrial utility systems includingsteam, refrigeration/ammonia, compressed air, HVAC, compressed gases, and water systems
  • Develop equipment specifications, process documentation, and technical reports
  • Create mass and energy balances, P&IDs, equipment lists, and connection documentation
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal project teams
  • Support project estimating, proposal development, construction, startup, and commissioning activities
  • Conduct site surveys and evaluate existing conditions
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
 
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
  • 7+ years of experience with industrial utility systems, including:
    • Steam Systems
    • Refrigeration/Ammonia Systems
    • Compressed Air Systems
    • HVAC Systems
    • Compressed Gas Systems
    • Industrial Water Systems
  • Experience developing P&IDs, process calculations, and equipment specifications
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Industrial HVAC experience
  • Dust Collection/Dust Control system experience
