Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

• Manage capital and sustaining projects from concept to completion
• Develop project scope, specifications, safety reviews, and timelines
• Coordinate design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and project closeout

Engineering & Technical Support

• Provide mechanical engineering support for production and maintenance
• Optimize plant infrastructure, equipment, and processes
• Troubleshoot and improve mechanical systems

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors
• Oversee design, fabrication, installation, and support services

Process Improvement

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyze process and equipment data to identify improvement opportunities
• Implement solutions to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with production, maintenance, and technical teams
• Support training, safety, and reliability initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
• Must meet ITAR/export control compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of engineering experience in manufacturing
• Experience with aluminum rolling mills or similar heavy industry
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or utility systems
• Experience managing or supporting capital projects
