Position:Mechanical Engineer
Location: Mossville/Chillicothe (Peoria), Illinois
Duration: 02 year (Extendable)
Tasks:
- Collaborate with service engineering and customer facing teams to solicit and gage customer feedback on product quality concerns.
- Lead cross functional teams encompassing L3-L5 design controls, product support and customer facing team members through the DMAIC CPI (Continuous Product Improvement) process to introduce production and service part solutions on time and on cost.
- Engage customers, dealers, suppliers, team members, and other business units in assessing and communicating project results.
- Lead and maintain Power BI dashboards that are utilized for monitoring quality trends
Technical Skills:
- Engine experience, understand components would be preferred, manufacturing machine plant experience will be considered as well
- Triaging the quality issues as they come in which would lead to product development.
- 2/3rd of time initially would be doing claim process reviews and quality issues, triaging the claims, using internal Claims tool.
Education and Experience:
B.S. or M.S. with 02+ years of experience
