Position: Mechanical Design Engineer – Interiors

Job Description

We are seeking aMechanical Design Engineer – Interiors with strong experience ininterior lighting, switches, and haptics systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven background inautomotive interior design, preferably fromTesla, and be proficient inCATIA CDX.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interior components such aslighting systems, switches, and trim assemblies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, electronics, suppliers) to ensure seamless integration.

• Support full product lifecycle — from concept and prototyping to production release and validation.

• ApplyDFM, GD&T, and mechanical design best practices to achieve high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in mechanical/interior design, preferably in theautomotive industry.

• Hands-on expertise inCATIA CDX (V5/V6).

• Strong understanding oflighting, haptics, and switch technologies.

• Experience withplastics part design,complex assemblies, andmanufacturing processes.

• Degree inMechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
