We are seeking aMechanical Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in product design, development, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inPro/ENGINEER (Creo) solid modeling and experience with manufacturing-oriented mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mechanical products and components.
• Create detailed 3D solid models and mechanical designs usingPro/ENGINEER (Creo).
• Develop and modify engineering drawings usingAutoCAD as needed.
• SupportValue Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to improve product cost, quality, and performance.
• ApplyDesign for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to mechanical designs.
• Perform and supportFMEA, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to develop production-ready designs.
• Design components for various manufacturing processes, including machining, injection molding, casting, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability, reliability, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of design and manufacturing issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and product development initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical/product design, development, and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience inMechanical Engineering preferred.
• StrongPro/ENGINEER (Creo) solid modeling experience.
• Experience with mechanical product design and development.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design principles.
• Experience withVAVE projects.
