What You Will Do
As a Mechanical Assembler 2, you will play a key role in ensuring the assembly and quality of mechanical products, contributing to the success of our operations team. You will work onsite in a dynamic environment, utilizing your skills to meet production goals and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials to complete assembly tasks.
- Operate hand tools, air tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of products in workstations to ensure smooth workflow and availability of materials.
- Perform quality checks on assembled products, identifying and recording any defects.
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products based on engineering specification changes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to established safety procedures and quality standards.
- Support customer demands by completing tasks accurately and on time.
- Ability to work in a standing position for up to 9 hours per day.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical
- education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Experience operating hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.

- Prior assembly experience in a production environment.
- Basic computer knowledge to support work processes.
- Experience using hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Ability to identify product defects and perform rework or repairs.
- Experience functioning productively as part of a team to meet operational goals.
