Your mission at Voi
As aMechanic (Fleet Specialist Hybrid) inAarhus, you'll keep our electric scooters and e-bikes in great shape and help our city operations run smoothly. As part of our mechanical team, you'll maintain and repair our vehicles - learning the technical side of micromobility and keeping our fleet ride-ready. We also have our in-field tasks, where you'll be utilising our vans to perform different tasks in theAarhus area, making sure our operations runs as efficiently as possible.
Your day-to-day will include tasks like:
Dismantle and recycle vehicles beyond repair♻️
Receive, inspect and prepare new vehicles and batteries at the warehouse🔍
Support your teammates in-field with reparking vehicles, clearing parking spots, flagging issues🤝
Collect and deploy Voi vehicles across the city⚙️
Locate and retrieve damaged vehicles🛴
Swap batteries to keep vehicles ready to ride🔋
Carry out on-site repairs and diagnose mechanical issues🔧
What you’ll need to embark
We’re looking for someonereliable, proactive, and eager to learn. You enjoy teamwork and feel comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. In addition, the right candidate should have:
FluentEnglish, both verbal and written and if you're fluent inDanish it's a plus
Experience withtools, repairs or vehicle maintenance
A valid drivers license forDenmark
Solid knowledge of Aarhus and confidence driving in the city, preferably from professional driving in logistics or a similar role
General familiarity with digital tools and applications
Ability to handle a physically demanding job
Job conditions
Working days:2 out of 5 weekdays (part time, 15 hours weekly)
Working hours: AM-shift or PM-shift (typically 6am-12/2pm or 2/4pm-10/11pm)
Schedule plan: Schedule set on a monthly basis
Contract type: 6 months fixed term contract
