Role summary:
The Manager, Advanced Analytics leads a team to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic and tactical business objectives. This role partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced analytical models and solutions that address complex business challenges. The position requires strong project and stakeholder management skills to guide analytics initiatives from conception through execution. The manager fosters continuous learning and development within the team while ensuring alignment with company values and operational standards to drive measurable business impact and informed decision-making.
About the team:
The FC Capacity Planning team leads initiatives that support growth, efficiency, and cost objectives across fulfillment centers. Collaborating with senior leadership, the team develops data-driven strategies and advanced models to guide critical business decisions. They manage complex analytics projects, work cross-functionally, and implement innovative solutions to enhance processes. Focused on continuous learning and alignment with organizational goals, the team leverages predictive analytics and business insights to drive operational excellence. Their efforts enable informed decision-making and improve performance across the enterprise, contributing significantly to Walmart’s mission.
What you'll do:

Collaborate with leadership and business partners to identify key challenges and develop data-driven hypotheses and research plans.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics models and prototypes to support business objectives.
Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to inform functional initiatives and decision-making.
Manage end-to-end project workstreams, ensuring risk mitigation and successful delivery of analytics solutions.
Partner cross-functionally to develop consultative solutions and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Oversee data analysis strategies and validate model performance to drive measurable business value.

What you'll bring:

Proven expertise in advanced analytics and data-driven decision making to address complex business challenges.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end, including risk management and stakeholder collaboration.
Experience partnering with senior leadership to translate analytics into actionable business recommendations.
Proficiency in developing and implementing data models, algorithms, and prototypes to drive business value.
Excellent communication skills to influence and engage cross-functional teams and external partners.
Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
