MDM SME - Job Description MDM Strategy & Governance • Define and establish enterprise-wide MDM vision, strategy, and roadmap. • Develop and implement MDM governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models. • Partner with business stakeholders to identify master data domains, ownership models, and stewardship responsibilities. • Establish data governance processes to ensure data consistency, quality, compliance, and accountability. MDM Lifecycle Management • Provide expertise across all stages of the MDM lifecycle, including: o Data acquisition and onboarding o Data profiling and assessment o Data standardization and cleansing o Data matching and survivorship o Golden record creation and maintenance o Hierarchy management o Data governance and stewardship o Data quality monitoring o Data distribution and consumption o Continuous improvement and optimization Semarchy / MDM Platform Leadership • Collaborate with Vendor and implementation partners to ensure optimal platform utilization. • Ensure platform capabilities are effectively leveraged to deliver measurable business outcomes. • Recommend enhancements and best practices to improve MDM processes and user adoption. Data Quality & Business Value Realization • Define and monitor data quality KPIs and governance metrics. • Drive initiatives to improve master data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness. • Measure and communicate business value realization resulting from MDM adoption. • Support regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements related to master data. Architecture & Integration • Provide guidance on MDM architecture and integration patterns. • Collaborate with enterprise architecture, data engineering, and application teams to integrate MDM with upstream and downstream systems. • Ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy, data governance, analytics, and AI initiatives.
