( Fastwater Staffing ) MBSE Consultant — Model-Based Systems Engineering | Fully Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MBSE Consultant to support complex space systems engineering programs. The ideal candidate will contribute to model-based design, system architecture development, and satellite operations support, particularly within early mission phases.

Non-Negotiable Requirements (Must Have BOTH)

Candidatesmust have strong experience in both areas below:

1. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

• Strong expertise inSysML
• Hands-on experience withCameo Systems Modeler
• Experience withfunctional decomposition
• Strong understanding ofrequirements traceability
• Ability to develop and manage system models across lifecycle stages

2. LEOP Experience (Launch & Early Orbit Phase)

• Direct experience inLaunch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) operations
• Experience insatellite commissioning and/or routine satellite operations
• Familiarity with mission-critical operational environments and procedures
