About NeuroBionics
NeuroBionics, an MIT neurotechnology spinout, is developing implantable neural interfaces built from microscale, flexible, bioelectronic fibers, delivered through minimally invasive endovascular approaches. By making neural interfacing minimally invasive, we aim to broaden access to life-changing neuromodulation therapies for millions of patients.
About the Role
We are hiring one MIT Sloan MBA student as a part-time Strategy Intern to work directly with our CEO, MJ Antonini. Your main focus is our Series A raise: from your first week, you'll build the pitch deck and investor pipeline with MJ. Alongside that, you'll support the team's indication selection with the market and reimbursement analysis the pitch depends on.
There is a possible path to a full-time role after the Series A closes.
What you'll do: Duties and Responsibilities
Series A Fundraising (primary focus)
Build and iterate the Series A pitch deck with MJ, from narrative to final slides.
Keep our comparables analysis of recent neurotech and medtech financings current.
Assemble and organize the data room.
Support the financial model and use-of-funds plan.
Build a tiered list of 60β80 target investors, research each fund's thesis and portfolio, and keep the CRM up to date.
Market & Indication Strategy (supporting)
You'll support the team's indication selection, focused on the analysis the pitch needs:
Research epidemiology, standard of care, and unmet need for candidate indications.
Size markets and map the competitive landscape, including other neuromodulation and bioelectronic approaches.
Map the reimbursement and coding path for shortlisted indications: existing codes, coverage precedent, and the evidence payers will expect from us.
Your Experience & Qualifications
Required:
Currently enrolled in the MBA program or recently graduated (within the last semester) and able to start in November 2026.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Professional experience in healthcare, life sciences, or medtech, whether in industry, healthcare consulting, healthcare investing, or a clinical or scientific role.
Strong Excel and slide skills, including building financial or market models from scratch.
Independent and self-directed, comfortable working in a small team with fast feedback.
Available 10-15 hours per week during the semester.
Authorized to work in the U.S. We support CPT for international students.
Preferred:
Experience in venture capital, investment banking, strategic consulting, or corporate development
Exposure to market access, reimbursement, or medtech commercial strategy.
Familiarity with neuromodulation or bioelectronic medicine.
Clinical, engineering, or scientific training (MD, PhD, or equivalent).
Working Conditions
Schedule & Compensation
Pay: $30β40 per hour, based on experience.
Hours: Up to 20 per week during the semester, with more during IAP in January if your schedule allows.

Reporting: Directly to MJ Antonini, CEO.
Location: hybrid.
