As a Materials Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to support production and deliver great experiences for our consumers.


Play your part in our team succeeding

As a Materials Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring material availability to support the production plan. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, production teams, and planning partners to maintain inventory health, improve supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement across planning processes.


Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure material availability in line with the latest production plan requirements.
  • Manage and adjust supplier delivery schedules to accommodate production plan changes.
  • Optimize inventory and safety stock levels to ensure production continuity while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Monitor supplier performance and proactively address supply risks and potential disruptions.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate material-related risks through effective contingency planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning efficiency, transportation optimization, inventory utilization, and supplier collaboration.
  • Execute daily planning activities with a strong focus on quality, agility, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytics to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Support the implementation and continual improvement of the QEHS Management System within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure adequate resources are available to maintain QEHS compliance and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate leadership and proactive participation in QEHS initiatives.
  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, customer, and company QEHS requirements.

Do You Have What It Takes?

  • Experience in Materials Planning, Inventory Management, Procurement, Supply Planning, or related Supply Chain functions.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles, material planning processes, and supply chain operations.
  • Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools (PDCA, Process Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Lean principles, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation experience.
  • Power BI expertise, including dashboard development, KPI visualization, data modeling, DAX, and reporting automation.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business data to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de México manufacturing facility in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León. This is an on-site position and remote work is not available.
