Under general supervision at a distribution center, performs a variety of skilled warehousing tasks, such as receiving, storage and order selection, for fulfillment of online merchandise orders. Drives consistent execution of order fulfillment processing to meet and exceed customers' expectations.Who We Are

Completion of high school or the equivalent. Creditable job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a 9-month basis. Six months of progressively responsible general experience plus a minimum of six months specialized experience in receiving, storing or shipping merchandise and processing documents in a mechanized distribution center. Operation of MHE or motor vehicle is subject to prescribed licensing requirements.If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.
Major Duties
Receiving: May unload merchandise from incoming conveyors, compare freight received to the transportation document/freight bill, identify damage/shortages and ensure counts are correct. Monitors placement of put away tickets on items scheduled for movement and ensures all receiving processes are followed correctly and within defined standards. Packages and labels merchandise for placement in appropriate bin. Using a computer, may perform merchandise profiling.Storage: May ensure merchandise is properly placed in the correct location/balance accuracy and updates warehouse management system documents for inventory control. Ensures all storage processes are followed correctly and within defined standards.
Order selection: May receive customers order and diligently selects the customers items, to include correct color, size, style, etc. Ensures all order selection processes are followed and every order is picked quickly and correctly within defined standards.
May operate a forklift or other material handling equipment to ensure merchandise is moved by picking cycles and accomplished in a timely manner.
May be responsible for ensuring item/location balances are accurate using various warehouse management reports. Uses PC to ensure accuracy of each items file maintenance.
Position uses a PC in performance of work to ensure correct shipment, documentation and control of the fulfillment process.
May perform periodic and special inventories. May assist in the training and development of other associates on the online fulfillment process.
Actively communicates/promotes the benefits of the Military Star credit card to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty. Complies with established safety, security, and fire prevention procedures and directives. Performs other duties as assigned.
