Materials Handler

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

The Materials Handler is responsible for moving materials from machines at workstation as part of production process.

Responsibilities:

* Issue and transfer parts for production.

* Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.

* Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.

M-F 7:00am-3:30pm (as business needs OT M-F 5:00am-3:30pm and Sat. 5:00am-11:00am)

40 hours a week 8 hours a day

Requirements:

• Experience: Entry-level position; 0 to 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All required PPE will be provided, with the exception of steel-toed boots, which must be supplied by the employee.

Note: The hiring decision is based on a combination of factors, with the primary focus being:

Resume review and overall work experience
Candidate discussions and communication during tour.
Engagement, professionalism, and interest demonstrated during the site tour

While prior assembly experience is preferred, it is not required. Candidates with experience using hand tools and power tools in manufacturing, construction, mechanical, industrial, or other hands-on environments are also encouraged and will be considered.
