What you will be doing:
- Ability to learn and use current systems with a handheld device and printers supporting inventory movement and order picking accuracy. Â
- Manage inventory accurately throughout the proper order pick and pack processÂ
- Ability to pick customer orders, receive, transfer, consolidate, and put away inventory accuratelyÂ
- Ability to pick, organize, and ship customer orders in a timely manner meeting customer expectationsÂ
- Ability to create shipments and label products according for Haz and non-Haz criteria Â
- 49CFR and IATA training completion certifications will be required  Â
- Load and unload outgoing and incoming freight as requiredÂ
- Operate various forklifts, powered pallet jacks, order pickers as necessary for supportÂ
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient mannerÂ
- Maintain excellent housekeeping practices through daily 6s standardsÂ
- Coordinate physical inventories as requiredÂ
- Ability to communicate and support other functions and individuals of the warehouse, Quality, and Manufacturing teamsÂ
- Be able to problem solve and escalate issues as necessary Â
- Create bills, packing list, and product labels as requiredÂ
- Schedule or communicate freight pickup as requiredÂ
- Miscellaneous duties as assignedÂ
What you need for success:
- Proficiency in all areas of essential functions outlined above.Â
- Previous experience in operating PIV equipment and Material Handling is requiredÂ
- High School Education is required Â
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Â
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a mustÂ
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.Â
- Ability to multitask and adjust to changing daily schedules Â
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and some overtime as requiredÂ
- Ability to lift 50 poundsÂ
- Must be comfortable at heights of up to 20 feet while operating PIV equipment Â
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods as requiredÂ
