We are seeking a talented individual to join ourExecutive Rewards team, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Louisville KY and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office or with clients.

 

THE POSITION: Executive Rewards Analyst

The first step in your career with the Executive Rewards business is as an Executive Rewards Analyst. Analysts work with a broad range of clients and industries, participating as a member of project teams to diagnose issues and design strategic solutions. We work with clients around the world to engage their most important assets, their people.  We partner with board members, senior executives, and HR leaders to optimize business performance through strategies that better manage, reward, and engage their people.

 

The Executive Rewards practice helps companies design, assess, and execute performance measurement and rewards strategies that reinforce business objectives. We do this by understanding our clients' unique strategies, capabilities, and cultures, and applying our analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of global market practices to deliver effective results. We benchmark, design, and implement rewards programs — including compensation structures, incentive plans, and benefit programs — and serve as Marsh People and Investments' national executive benefits center of expertise.

 

What we look for

 

  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentation design
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build strong client relationships
  • Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, including new digital tools and AI innovations in HR
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail

 

What you need to have

 

  • Bachelor's degree, with anticipated graduation date ofSpring 2027; focus in math, statistics, business, finance, or economics preferred
  • Anticipated start date of August 2027; this is a full-time, on-site role in Louisville — relocation assistance is not available
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future; candidates must have permanent, unrestricted U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available for this role (Please note, CPT and OPT are considered restricted forms of work authorization)

 

What a typical day looks like

 

  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analytical support to senior consultants and project teams
  • Conduct research to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including business strategy, corporate performance, and compensation and rewards practices
  • Analyze clients' strategic, financial, and organizational information to develop insights and solutions
  • Perform financial analyses of industry sectors and client peer groups
  • Collaborate with project teams on how best to structure analyses and present findings
  • Prepare presentations for boards of directors, senior executives, and HR leaders
