Position OverviewÂ
We are looking for a creative, strategic, and self-driven Marketing Specialist to manage and grow social media presence across a portfolio of brands — spanning both B2B and B2C audiences. This role is platform-heavy and creatively demanding, covering Instagram, Facebook, Substack, LinkedIn, and a TikTok channel that is just getting off the ground.Â
Â
This is not a role where you wait for a task list and execute it. We want someone who brings ideas to the table — who spots a trend, connects it to a brand opportunity, and presents it to the Marketing Manager before being asked. You will be a creative partner, not just an executor. Over time, this role is designed to grow into a more strategic function as you build familiarity with each brand and demonstrate your ability to think at a higher level.Â
Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Social Media Management — Multi-PlatformÂ
- Own day-to-day social media activity across Instagram, Facebook, Substack, LinkedIn, and TikTok for a portfolio of B2B and B2C brandsÂ
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across all active platforms with consistency, quality, and brand-specific toneÂ
- Manage content calendars across multiple brands simultaneously, ensuring no platform goes dark and no deadline is missedÂ
- Adapt messaging and creative approach for each platform and audience — what works on TikTok is not the same as what works on LinkedInÂ
- Support the launch and growth of a new TikTok channel, helping establish the content direction, voice, and posting cadence from the ground upÂ
Â
Content Creation — Canva & CapCutÂ
- Design and produce social media graphics, carousels, stories, reels, and short-form video content using Canva and CapCutÂ
- Edit and produce short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook — including captions, transitions, music, and on-screen textÂ
- Maintain brand-specific design templates and visual standards across all creative outputÂ
- Repurpose existing content intelligently across platforms to maximize reach without duplicating effortÂ
Â
Substack ManagementÂ
- Support the creation, formatting, and publishing of Substack newsletters for applicable brandsÂ
- Ensure Substack content is consistent with overall brand voice and social media messagingÂ
- Track subscriber engagement and open rates, and bring observations and growth ideas to the Marketing ManagerÂ
Â
Trend Research & Strategic InputÂ
This is where good becomes great in this role.Â
Â
- Actively monitor social media trends, platform algorithm changes, emerging content formats, and competitor activity across all relevant channelsÂ
- Bring trend observations and content ideas to the Marketing Manager proactively — you do not wait to be asked what is trendingÂ
- Identify how trends can be applied to each brand specifically, with a clear rationale and execution idea ready to presentÂ
- Participate in marketing planning conversations with ideas, not just updates — your perspective matters and you are expected to contribute itÂ
Â
LinkedIn — B2B Brand PresenceÂ
- Manage LinkedIn presence for applicable B2B brands, including company page updates, content publishing, and engagementÂ
- Develop LinkedIn content that speaks credibly to a professional audience — thought leadership, industry commentary, and brand positioningÂ
- Monitor LinkedIn engagement and bring insights on what content is resonating and what is notÂ
Â
Analytics & Performance ReportingÂ
- Track and analyze social media performance across all platforms and brands — engagement, reach, follower growth, and content performanceÂ
- Prepare clear, concise performance summaries for the Marketing Manager on a regular basisÂ
- Use data to inform future content decisions — bring observations and recommendations, not just numbersÂ
Â
Required QualificationsÂ
- Proven experience in social media marketing across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn — managing multiple accounts or brands simultaneously is a strong plusÂ
- Hands-on proficiency in Canva for graphic design and content creation — you produce high-quality visuals independentlyÂ
- Hands-on proficiency in CapCut or a comparable short-form video editing toolÂ
- Strong understanding of each platform's content formats, algorithms, and best practices — you know why content performs the way it doesÂ
- Experience creating or managing content on TikTok, or a demonstrated understanding of TikTok content strategyÂ
- Experience with Substack or comparable email/newsletter platformsÂ
- A genuine creative sensibility — your content looks intentional, not templatedÂ
- Proactive communicator who brings ideas forward without being promptedÂ
- Organized enough to manage content calendars and posting schedules across multiple brands simultaneouslyÂ
Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Experience managing marketing across a multi-brand portfolio — balancing different voices, audiences, and business objectivesÂ
- Background in both B2B and B2C marketing — you know how to shift tone and strategy based on the audienceÂ
- Experience presenting content ideas, trend reports, or campaign concepts to a marketing lead or stakeholderÂ
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or Meta Business SuiteÂ
- Basic video production or content creation skills beyond CapCut — comfort in front of the camera is a bonusÂ
Â
Platforms & ToolsÂ
RequiredÂ
- Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Substack, TikTok — active daily managementÂ
- Canva — graphic design and creative productionÂ
- CapCut — short-form video editingÂ
Â
PreferredÂ
- Social media scheduling platform — Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or Meta Business SuiteÂ
- Basic analytics tools — Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, TikTok AnalyticsÂ
Â
Growth TrajectoryÂ
This role is designed to grow. As you build familiarity with each brand and demonstrate your ability to think strategically — not just execute — you will take on more ownership over content strategy, campaign planning, and cross-brand marketing initiatives. We want someone who sees this as a career opportunity, not just a job, and who is motivated to grow into a more senior marketing role over time.Â
Â
What Makes You a Great FitÂ
- You open your social media feeds every morning not just as a user but as a marketer — always looking for what is working and whyÂ
- You bring trends to the Marketing Manager before they ask — with a clear idea of how to apply themÂ
- Your content across different brands looks and feels distinctly different because you understand each audienceÂ
- You manage five platforms and three brands without anything going dark or falling behindÂ
- You have creative instincts and the technical skills to execute on them — and you do not need someone else to make your ideas look goodÂ
