Job Title: Marketing Intern 

Location: West Des Moines, IA 

Terms: 12 weeks, full-time flexible 37.5 hours/week, in-office 

Pay: $21/hour 

Start Date: Monday, January 11th, 2027 (can be flexible) 

End Date: Friday, August 13th, 2027 (can be flexible)

What You’ll Do: 

  • Support Digital Marketing: Help create, update, and manage content across digital channels, including email, social media, digital signage, and interactive displays.  
  • Create Marketing Content: Write, edit, and format content for marketing campaigns, company communications, social media, and digital or print materials.   
  • Design Visual Content: Create visuals for both digital and print formats, including employee communications, corporate announcements, recruiting materials, social media posts, and print materials such as content covers, brochures, and banners. 
  • Support Photo and Video Shoots: Assist with setting up, editing, organizing, and participating in photo and video shoots. 
  • Brainstorm Creative Ideas: Contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, written content, photos, videos, and visual materials that align with company goals.  
  • Collaborate with a Talented Team: Work closely with a dynamic marketing department of over 10 skilled professionals who collaborate cross-departmentally to elevate the company’s image.

  • Previous Work Experience: Prior work experience is preferred, regardless of industry. This includes work history outside a corporate environment (e.g., food service, retail, seasonal jobs) or on-campus leadership roles (e.g., PRSSA, student newspaper, yearbook, etc.).  
  • Professional Development: Additional trainings, certifications, or workshops that enhance your qualifications. 
  • Involvement in Extracurricular Activities: Participation in campus organizations or other activities that demonstrate your teamwork, leadership, time management, and passions.
