Position Summary:The Marketing & Design Coordinator helps tell the story of StoneBridge Christian Church through compelling visual design, strategic marketing, social media, and consistent branding. This position creates and coordinates visual and digital content that supports StoneBridge’s ministries, campuses, events, and churchwide initiatives while ensuring that the StoneBridge brand remains cohesive, recognizable, and engaging across platforms.
This role combines strong graphic design skills with an understanding of marketing and social media to help StoneBridge effectively reach both its church community and the broader communities we serve.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Graphic Design & Creative Production
  • Oversee the design of high-quality graphics and visual assets for churchwide initiatives, sermon series, ministries, events, social media, digital platforms, print materials, signage, apparel, merchandise, and other promotional needs.
  • Develop creative concepts and visual campaigns that effectively communicate StoneBridge’s message and ministry priorities.
  • Prepare artwork and files for print, digital, environmental, and merchandise applications.
  • Coordinate with outside designers, printers, vendors, and contractors when additional creative support is needed.
  • Maintain organized design files, templates, photography, brand assets, and other creative resources.
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices while maintaining a visual identity that is distinctly StoneBridge.

Brand Management
  • Serve as a primary steward of the StoneBridge visual brand.
  • Maintain and implement brand standards across campuses, ministries, print materials, digital platforms, signage, merchandise, and promotional materials.
  • Develop templates, tools, and brand resources that allow ministry teams to create materials while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Review major visual materials for consistency with StoneBridge brand standards.
  • Help evolve StoneBridge's visual identity as ministry and marketing needs change.
  • Support branding and visual identity development for StoneBridge ministries, programs, initiatives, and special projects.

Marketing
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for major churchwide initiatives, events, ministries, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Partner with pastors and ministry leaders to identify audiences, key messages, promotional strategies, timelines, and creative needs.
  • Determine the appropriate combination of digital, social, print, signage, advertising, and other promotional channels for campaigns.
  • Coordinate paid digital and social advertising as appropriate.
  • Evaluate campaign performance and use insights to improve future marketing efforts.
  • Help identify opportunities to increase community awareness of StoneBridge and effectively communicate what StoneBridge offers to people who are not currently connected to the church.
  • Oversee the Churchwide Communications budget.

Social Media & Digital Content
  • Develop and execute StoneBridge's churchwide social media strategy across appropriate platforms.
  • Create and manage a social media content calendar aligned with StoneBridge's ministry calendar, teaching themes, events, and organizational priorities utilizing The Hub (our inside resource for communication requests).
  • Create engaging social content, including graphics, photography, short-form video, reels, stories, and promotional content.
  • Write concise social copy that reflects StoneBridge's established voice.
  • Monitor social media performance, engagement, audience growth, and content effectiveness.
  • Identify social media trends and opportunities that are appropriate for the StoneBridge brand and audience.
  • Collaborate with campuses and ministries to gather stories, photos, videos, and other content that highlight what is happening throughout StoneBridge.

Content Creation
  • Capture basic photography and short-form video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and digital platforms.
  • Edit simple short-form video content, including reels, stories, and promotional pieces.
  • Help coordinate photography and content capture at major StoneBridge events and ministry moments utilizing our group of volunteers (Difference Makers) who serve on ourCapture Team.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Arts Team or outside creatives when projects require advanced photography or video production.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):


  • Experience in a church, nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven organization preferred.


Education and Experience:
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, visual communications, advertising, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, marketing, social media, branding, or a related creative field.
  • Experience working in a church, nonprofit, ministry, or similarly mission-drive organization preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong graphic design portfolio demonstrating skill in layout, typography, visual hierarchy, branding, and digital design.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; experience with Canva or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated understanding of brand identity and the ability to consistently apply established brand standards.
  • Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant social platforms.
  • Understanding of social media strategy, analytics, engagement, and current platform trends.
  • Basic photography and short-form video creation/editing skills.
  • Strong creative judgment with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate ministry goals and ideas into compelling visual and marketing concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and relational, with the ability to receive feedback and work effectively with pastors, ministry leaders, campuses, and creative teams.
