The Opportunity

The Marketing Communications Specialist, Europe plays a crucial role in shaping the Cochlear customer experience by supporting the development, implementation, and delivery of our marketing and communications strategy. This role oversees and coordinates marketing materials, campaigns, and tracking data to ensure the marketing function has full oversight of B2B and B2C marketing activities across the European sub-region.

Location:Europe Hub locations, preferable Mechelen, Vienna, Gothenburg

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of strategic marketing plans across the sub-region, ensuring alignment with the EMEA and global strategic marketing strategy.

  • Plan and execute new marketing initiatives and campaigns across the European sub-region.

  • Oversee the implementation of campaigns, track KPIs, and monitor effectiveness in collaboration with EMEA & Global teams.

  • Adapt, streamline, and manage product, corporate messaging, and marketing materials across all channels.

  • Act as a brand champion, ensuring content creation aligns with internal processes and brand guidelines.

  • Support consumer events and programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Manage marketing collateral registration and approval processes.

  • Assist in budget allocation for special projects/campaigns and track spending.

  • Maintain marketing tools and databases, ensuring efficient document management.

About You.As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years in marketing, communications, or campaign marketing. Experience in digital marketing, product lifecycle management, and working in international matrix organizations is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong brand development and content strategy skills.

  • Ability to coordinate integrated marketing campaigns and manage marketing channels.

  • Experience in content personalization and marketing performance management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong reporting and analytical abilities.

  • Initiative and self-dependence in identifying business needs and providing solutions.

Region-specific Requirements:

  • International travel required (estimated 25%)

  • Ability and willingness to work with people from different cultural backgrounds
