Other Specifications:Physical position: Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs. Frequently required lifting, carrying, reaching, squatting, bending, sitting, standing while building product shippers and managing incoming and outgoing company store inventory and executing set up/ breakdown of company events. Occasional driving.
Position Summary: The Marketing Assistant provides administrative support for the Marketing Department and works closely with the Marketing Team to fulfill the day-to-day marketing and business needs. The primary focus of the assistant is donations/ sponsorships fulfillment, company store, online store, promotions, and employee welfare, including the execution of all internal events. This position is also responsible for Guest Services by providing daily coverage at the front desk (breaks, lunches, and occasional full day coverage) and rotation for Ale-8 Company Tours.
Essential Functions of the Position:
Company Store
- Responsible for maintaining company store and online store.
- Responsible for folding and tagging company store apparel and gift items, stocking and straightening company store, and notifying the Marketing Operations Supervisor of any low inventory or out-of-stock items.
- Responsible for fulfilling online orders, shipping, and curbside orders.
- Shippers: Responsible for creatingthe online shipper inventory by hand-filling boxes with products and staging them for order fulfillment. This is a physical activity that isrequired to be done weekly.
- Tracking inventory per SKU that is offered online.
- Making shippers (glass and cans) to fulfill orders.
- Labeling shippers from online orders and placing them in the appropriate location for UPS/ USPS to pick up the orders.
- Responsible for assisting and maintaining companystore inventory.
- Works directly with vendors to ensure new items get accurately added into the online system.
- Handles wholesale orders as they are placed.
- Works with other vendors to place orders for the company store.
Donations/ Sponsorships
- Manages the paperwork, fulfillment, and execution for all donations (gift baskets, product, merchandise) along with sponsorships.
- Point of contact for all email and mailed requests for donations/ sponsorships.
- Track allapproved sponsorships using Excel, providing monthly and yearly reports to the Community Outreach Manager.
Administrative Support
- Handles general administrative support.
- Expense Reports for the marketing team.
- Receives and manages general mail for marketing.
- Manages multiple email accounts, store, donations, sponsorships, general.
- Manage inventory for the company store.
- Square – Reporting for accounting.
Guest Services Duties
- Works at the Front Desk to fill in as the Receptionist during breaks and lunch daily. All day coverage is required occasionally.
- Greet all guests quickly, courteously, and professionally in a fast-paced setting.
- Provide guests with company information such as address, directions, hours of operation, fax number, website, and other related information.
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate employee.
- Exercises good judgment when receiving phone calls and in-person inquiries.
- Take complete and accurate messages with current dates and times and deliver messages electronically to the appropriate party in a timely manner.
- Open/ Close the front desk as needed: Secure the company store and finalize closing reporting at the close of each working day according to office guidelines.
Tours
- This position is in the rotation for providing Company Tours for guests and customers and responsible for scheduling tours as needed.
- Educate guests on the history of Ale-8-One as well as sharing fun facts and tidbits about the product(s) and facility.
- Continually finding ways to enhance and improve our company tour to make it an awesome experience.
Employee Welfare
- Responsible for the execution of all internal company events, employee celebrations, and meals.
- Once the event is planned, this individual is responsible for the execution of these events – Company Picnic, Anniversary, Thanksgiving Lunch, employee lunches, celebrations, and all other events scheduled throughout the year, including set up, event execution and breakdown/ clean up.
- Create flyers for all company events and post them internally two weeks prior to the event.
Events/ Promotions
- This position will work occasional Ale-8 Events that are scheduled in advance. These can include some limited nights and weekends.
- Assist in the planning and fulfillment of Influencer Kits and Random Acts of Kindness or other promotion opportunities assigned.

- Follow PPE guidelines, as required.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least50lbs and adequately stand, sit, squat, kneel, bend, twist, reach and do overhead work.
- Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle, have a reliable means of transportation and a valid, active driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Must meet Ale-8-One’s driving record standards in accordance with our insurance company requirements.
