What you'll be doing
As a Marketing Assistant in our General Merchandise Marketing team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-profile campaigns throughout the year. Your organisational skills and proactive approach will ensure that campaigns run smoothly, from project coordination to stakeholder management. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment, working closely with various teams to bring innovative marketing strategies to life.
Key responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of major General Merchandise marketing campaigns.
- Assist in coordinating campaign timelines, milestones, and key deliverables.
- Prepare campaign presentations, briefing documents, and stakeholder updates.
- Manage product nomination processes for campaigns and marketing activities.
- Coordinate product samples for photography, content creation, PR, and campaign shoots.
- Raise purchase orders (POs) and support invoice processing.
- Track campaign spend and maintain budget records.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong administrative and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work at pace.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.
It would be great if you also have
- Previous experience in a marketing, retail, or administrative role.
- Experience working with budgets, purchase orders, or financial administration.
- Understanding of campaign planning and marketing processes.
- Interest in retail, customer marketing, and brand campaigns.
