Platform & Marketing Intern

Internship Dates: January 4, 2027 through March 19, 2027 (in-person)

Role Overview: We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented winter intern to support our Platform & Marketing team in preparing for The Montgomery Summit on March 9th and 10th, 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to the world of venture capital while building skills in event management and digital marketing, and join The Summit alongside our team.

March Capital is a leading venture growth firm founded in 2013, headquartered in Santa Monica, California. With ~$1.8B raised across funds and a portfolio that includes CrowdStrike, Canva, and Together AI, the firm partners with exceptional entrepreneurs building category-defining technology companies.

About The Montgomery Summit:
The Montgomery Summit is March Capital's annual flagship technology conference, bringing together ~1,200 founders, investors, and corporate leaders to Santa Monica. In its 24th year, it is one of the most influential gatherings in the technology industry and a central pillar of how March Capital builds and sustains its network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help update and maintain CRM and databases, The Montgomery Summit website, and event app
• Assist with content creation for social media & newsletter (LinkedIn, YouTube, Google)
• Help with VIP travel coordination & accommodations
• Support with preparing speaker briefing documents
• Generate and maintain weekly reporting on registration, revenue, and campaign performance to track progress against goals
• Be a key member of the planning team in the lead up to, and on-site, at The Montgomery Summit 2027

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong interest in marketing, tech, AI, business, economics, and startups
• Organized, proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• Proficiency in design and editing tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro, Canva)
• Familiarity with list and database management practices
