Manufacturing Supervisor - Nights

TEC Group is supporting an advanced manufacturing organization in Southern Maine in the search for an experienced, hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor.

This position will lead approximately 12 direct reports within a highly technical production environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading from the floor, troubleshooting alongside the team when needed, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support approximately 12 production employees
• Execute production schedules and help maintain schedule, quality, and performance goals
• Provide hands-on support with manufacturing and troubleshooting needs
• Manage employee performance, training, scheduling, and attendance
• Identify root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and production metrics
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
• Promote a collaborative, accountable, and respectful team environment

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on leadership style with the willingness to assist the team when needed
• Experience coaching employees and managing performance
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to work within a physical manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing practices is a plus
