- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar supervisory role.
- Previous experience in the dairy industry preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & Teams.
- Shift is primarily 1st shift but can be asked to work later or earlier to help train/observe/audit a process.

- Must possess the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality and efficiency.
- Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.
- Knowledge of M3, Factory track, Power-Bi, QA studios nice to have.
- Knowledge of 6-S Safety regulations nice to have
- Understands 6-S, FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act), SQF (Safe Quality Food) and HACCP (Hazard, Analysis, Critical, Control, Points).
- Supports the plant operations department in the area of Quality and Food Safety. Key contact for food safety regulatory authorities and auditing firms.
- Ensure that established procedures, verifications and validations are being followed for production quality, state and federal guidelines.
- Leads and supports internal and external audits.
- Maintains quality and food safety records.
- Performs records review and follow up on variances.
- Utilizes root cause analysis to resolve food safety and quality variances.
- Provides supervision of QA Staff in scheduling and daily activities.
- Provides back up where needed for QA Coordinator and Laboratory.
- Trains and instructs employees in quality and food safety standards and processes.
