Job Title:Operator II, Manufacturing (Portsmouth)Â
Who You Are:Â
You are an early-career manufacturing operator who takes pride in producing quality work, following standard processes, and working safely as part of a team. You are building confidence in machine operation, learning core manufacturing principles, and are motivated to grow your skills within your department.Â
Position Overview:Â
Operator II is an entry-level manufacturing role responsible for operating assigned equipment and processes while following established work instructions, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role focuses on developing technical proficiency, consistency, and strong Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) discipline under supervision and through training.Â
What You Will Do:Â
- Operate machinery and equipment following standard work instructionsÂ
- Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks of finished goodsÂ
- Complete production work orders and documentation accuratelyÂ
- Perform basic equipment set-up, changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenanceÂ
- Follow GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements alwaysÂ
- Participate in 5S, PPI, and other continuous improvement activitiesÂ
Qualifications and Skills:Â
- High School Diploma or GEDÂ
- Ability to operate equipment with routine supervisionÂ
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standardsÂ
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skillsÂ
- 0-1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferredÂ
