Job Title: Materials Clerk
Locations: Stephenville, TX
Duration: 3 Months Contract
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Rate Rate:$16.43/hr.w2

This role involves handling various tasks related to the shipment and receipt of materials in a manufacturing environment. The position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Specific Requirements:

• Wrap pallets for shipment to warehouses or customers.
• Load pallets into trucks for shipments to warehouses.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be licensed to operate both a standard forklift and upright lifts.
• Pick and combine partial pallets for shipments.
• Organize truckloads for full or LTL shipments.
• Load trucks verifying that all manifested items have been included.
• Ensure that proper paperwork is attached to the last pallet of all complete truckloads, including manifest or packing list.
• Ensure that signed bills of lading are attached to the manifest copy and given to the shipping coordinator for daily filing.
• Aid the shipping coordinator in the completion of direct shipments to customers.
• Verify incoming shipments and sign proper receiving documents in the absence of the shipping clerk.
• Perform weigh counts for outgoing shipments in the absence of the receiving clerk.
• Perform the shipping coordinator duties in their absence.
• Create the finished goods packout report at the end of the day.

Must Haves:

• Know quality procedures/objectives; help reach and maintain plant quality goals.
• Ability to identify parts by catalog number, inspect for quality, and recognize defects.
• Ability to check the operation of machines and meet department production requirements.
