Manufacturing Engineer – Electronics & AssemblyLockheed Martin | 4/10 Schedule – 1st Shift

We are seeking an experiencedManufacturing Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes forCircuit Card Assemblies (CCA),electronic module assemblies, andcable harness fabrication. This role works closely with design engineering and operations to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliant, efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and document manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts forCCA,module assemblies, andcable/wire harness builds
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, andGD&T requirements to develop robust work instructions and process documentation
  • Collaborate with design engineering to identify and implementDFM (Design for Manufacturability) improvements
  • Design, procure, and implementtooling, fixtures, and test equipment to support manufacturing operations
  • Incorporateinspection, test, and quality requirements (IPC standards, AS9100) into production plans
  • Monitor and evaluate machinery, equipment, and tooling performance; initiate and trackcorrective actions (CAR/Client) to ensure product quality
  • Partner with operations and production teams to support the shop floor and driveLean / CI (continuous improvement) initiatives
  • Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations, customer specifications, andAS9100 / DCMA requirements
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering on design concepts, specification requirements, and manufacturing capabilities

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience withcable harness assembly andIPC-620 standards
  • Process writing / work instruction authoring experience
  • Background inaerospace and defense (A&D) electronics manufacturing
  • Familiarity withMES, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Knowledge ofLean Manufacturing,Six Sigma, or5S methodologies
  • Experience withLockheed Martin,Raytheon,Northrop Grumman, or similar defense programs a plus
