Manufacturing Engineer II - Assembly

Job Title :PDP Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly
Location :Waterloo, IA -50704
Duration: 24 Months

Shift: 1st shift (7 am to 3:30 pm) – minimal overtime

$35 for fresher and $45 for experienced candidates

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team in Waterloo, IA. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work fully onsite in a dynamic factory environment with occasional intra-facility travel. The role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working on the shop floor and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge in one of the following areas: manufacturing, distribution, quality, tool design, maintenance, facilities
• Proficiency with software such as Creo View, AutoCAD, SAP
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, power systems, etc.)
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Demonstrated conflict resolution and project management skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Spend approximately 50% of the time on feet within the factory
• Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs
• Drive a John Deere owned Gator inside the factory for intra-facility travel
