Responsibilities:
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
- May help incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing understanding desired.
- Must be self-starter and take initiative on projects.
- Must work well with cross-functional teams.
- Hiring Manager would consider early career candidates with a Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering Degree and at least 1 year of industrial experience
- Candidates with 2-3 years Manufacturing Experience desired.
- Bachelors Degree is Required. Prefer candidates with 2-3 years of industrial experience
