Manufacturing Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seekingManufacturing Engineers in Ocala, Florida for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will develop and improve manufacturing processes, production layouts, work instructions, and corrective-action activities supporting electromechanical assemblies.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience working withelectromechanical assemblies.
• 3+ years of experience performingroot cause and corrective action (RCCA).
• 3+ years of experience withPR/MRB processes.
• Experience developing or improving manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Experience supporting production, fabrication, assembly, equipment installation, or material-handling operations.
• Strong process-development and technical-documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• PR/QMRB certification.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience withSAP, Apriso, and Windchill.
• Lean manufacturing and quality-improvement experience.
• Experience creating visual work instructions.
• Circuit card manufacturing experience.
• Cable and harness manufacturing experience.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.
• Support manufacturing of electromechanical assemblies and related production operations.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective-action activities.
• Support PR/MRB disposition and production issue resolution.
• Evaluate manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes for efficiency and quality.
• Use factory data and statistical process controls to drive continuous improvement.
• Support automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
• Provide manufacturability input to product design and engineering teams.

Pay

• $53.65 per hour.
