As a Manufacturing Engineer,you will design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and systems to drive efficiency, product quality, and overall productivity. In this role, you will help optimize operations, reduce manufacturing costs, and support the delivery of high-quality products by identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing effective manufacturing solutions. What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to help achieve quality, productivity, and operational goals.
  • Review and implement engineering change orders (ECOs), including new work instructions, tooling, and training requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions for new and existing manufacturing processes.
  • Train supervisors and production employees on processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, and Purchasing teams to support production objectives.
  • Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and other tools to improve assembly processes and productivity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Bring

Experience That Drives Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work hands-on on the manufacturing floor, supporting operations, troubleshooting issues, and driving process improvements.
  • Experience working in a medium-volume manufacturing environment. (preferred)
  • Experience designing machines, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality. (preferred)
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, including GE Proficy Machine Edition software. (preferred)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SolidWorks.

Location

This is a full-time position, on-site at our Manufacturing Facility located in Hazelwood, MO.
