Pay Range: $60 - $80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with extensive experience in NX, Teamcenter, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- The ideal candidate has a proven track record optimizing product designs for efficient, cost-effective production and excels in cross-functional collaboration.
- Skills- NX Proficiency: Expert use of Siemens NX for creating and refining product designs to enhance manufacturability.
- Teamcenter Expertise: Deep experience managing product data and workflows to streamline design-to-production processes.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Strong ability to integrate DFM principles to ensure practical, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing outcomes.
- Enhanced Design Models: Refined casting designs and MBOM updates incorporating advanced process insights.
- Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or hard science
- 5 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or product processing
- Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver processes and products on time in a safe manner that meets or exceeds the required parameters defined by the product
- Demonstrated continuous improvement and process development skills and techniques
- Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.) Work on personal or extracurricular projects is a plus.
- A genuine interest in manufacturing and thirst for learning
- High-rate production experience with safety critical industries
- Hands-on experience solid fuel rocket motors
- New product development experience
- Factory commissioning experience
- Demonstrated experience with large and complex CapEx projects
