DPPis seeking aManufacturing Analystfor an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
 
Work Location:Onsite in El Segundo, CA
Duration:12 months
Terms:W2 Contract
Work Authorization:US Citizen
 
Responsibilities:
  • Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
  • Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
  • The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
  • Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Relevant administrative/scheduling experience.
  • Experience in a team environment providing support to a diverse customer base with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience managing competing demands while still meeting critical deadlines.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook with calendar functionality.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities and step forward for projects.
  • Skilled with high attention to detail.
  • Managing and scheduling meetings will be critical as well as organizing presentations and gathering data for leadership consumption.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, basic formulas).
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Basic data analysis and reporting experience.
  • Problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing or related field.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing in an aerospace or industrial field.
  • Experience with ERP/MRO systems such as SAP or MES, Power BI or Tableau dashboards and reporting.
