Job Description
SN Required Information Details
1 Role* Manual Tester
2 Required Technical Skill Set** Experience in manual testing (functional, system, integration). Ability to understand business/functional requirements and prepare test cases. Experience in defect tracking, documentation, and test execution. Familiarity with QA processes and validation standards.
4 Desired Experience Range** 3–6 years in manual testing, preferably in manufacturing / shopfloor / MES applications
5 Location of Requirement Offshore (Pune, Bangalore, Chennai) – 1
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have**
• Experience in manual test execution and defect tracking
• Ability to analyze requirements and create test scenarios
• Strong understanding of functional and integration testing
• Experience in documentation and maintaining test artifacts
• Good communication and collaboration skills
Good-to-Have • Exposure to Tulip / MES / Manufacturing applications
• Familiarity with validation documentation processes
• Experience working in client-facing environments
SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Analyze business / functional requirements and participate in walkthroughs
2 Prepare test cases and document test scenarios and results
3 Execute functional, system, and integration testing
4 Prepare test environment as per BCI guidance
5 Track and report defects, test progress, and issues
6 Maintain and update test documentation and artifacts
7 Follow validation and QA documentation processes
8 Support QA compliance and obtain authorization for QA activities
9 Analyze business / functional requirements and participate in walkthroughs
10 Prepare test cases and document test scenarios and results
