The Manager of Treasury is responsible for overseeing the organization's daily cash management activities, short- and medium-term liquidity forecasting, banking relationships and account structures, and cash reconciliation processes. This role is instrumental in maintaining adequate liquidity to support business operations, maximizing returns on excess cash, and minimizing financing and borrowing costs.
The position also leads treasury-related process optimization initiatives, leveraging NetSuite, the company's ERP platform, to enhance efficiency, strengthen internal controls, improve cash visibility, and support strategic financial decision-making. The Manager of Treasury collaborates closely with Finance, Accounting, and business leaders to ensure effective cash flow management and alignment with organizational financial objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Cash Management
Manage and monitor daily cash activity across all operating and disbursement accounts
Ensure cash is positioned in the correct bank accounts to meet operational needs and minimize idle balances
Execute daily/weekly transfers between accounts as needed, including funding of disbursement accounts
Support wire and ACH payment processing, including dual-approval controls
Cash Forecasting
Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, updated daily
Analyze variances between forecasted and actual cash flows and adjust assumptions accordingly
Forecast cash receipts and disbursements using AR/AP aging reports, historical trends, and knowledge of customer payment behavior and vendor payment terms
Identify and clearly flag when borrowing or debt repayment will be needed based on projected cash position
Partner with FP&A on liquidity assumptions for annual budget and long-range planning
Bank Structure & Reconciliation
Assist in the design and implementation of a concentration account and zero balance account (ZBA) structure
Perform or oversee reconciliation of all bank accounts (approximately 15 accounts), ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
Maintain relationships with banking partners and serve as a point of contact for day-to-day banking issues
Investment & Yield Optimization
Research and recommend short-term investment vehicles (money market funds, sweep accounts, overnight investments, CDs, etc.) to maximize earnings on excess cash
Monitor market rates and banking fee structures to ensure competitive terms
Debt & Credit Facility Management
Manage debt covenant compliance monitoring
Internal Controls & Governance
Maintain and enforce treasury-related internal controls (segregation of duties, approval hierarchies, fraud prevention/positive pay)
Maintain treasury policies and procedures documentation
Support audit requests (internal and external) related to cash and bank activity
Systems & Reporting
Lead ongoing optimization of NetSuite treasury functions (cash management module, bank feeds, reconciliation automation) to drive efficiency and process improvement
Prepare monthly treasury reporting package for senior leadership
Evaluate and recommend treasury workstation or cash management technology tools.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
5–10 years of progressive experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate finance.
Demonstrated experience managing multi-account bank structures and daily cash positioning.
Experience building and maintaining rolling cash flow forecasts (13-week or similar).
Strong understanding of AR/AP aging and its application to cash forecasting.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and comfort working under deadline pressure.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience with NetSuite (or willingness/aptitude to learn quickly).
Experience with JPMorgan Access (or comparable bank platform) for reporting, wires, and account management.
Experience setting up or optimizing concentration/ZBA account structures.
Prior experience in a multi-entity or multi-bank environment.
Experience optimizing or configuring NetSuite (or similar ERP) treasury/cash management functionality post-implementation.

The expected base pay range for this position is $100,000-130,000 per year. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule.
