Manager, Supports and Services TheKenora Association for Community Living (KACL) is a registered charity dedicated to providing a wide range of supports and services to people with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs, assisting them to achieve their full potential and to enjoy meaningful and satisfying lives. We are currently seeking aManager, Supports and Servicesto lead and develop their team to offer supports rooted in KACL values and service delivery principles. The Manager will provide the necessary foundation to ensure that the team feels impactful, inspired, valued, and an integral part of KACL. Under the leadership of the Director, Supports and Services, the Manager is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to team members, develop capacity in team members to provide necessary supports, and participate in decision-making related to program development and organization-wide initiatives. The Manager plays a crucial role in the maintenance and development of the program(s) in their portfolio. The Manager fosters strong community relationships and partnerships, collaborating with external partners to promote service excellence and advocacy for the rights of people supported. The Manager contributes to the organization’s commitment to creating inclusive, empowering, and supportive environments for all individuals served, and in championing a culture grounded in the fundamentals of safety, teamwork, courtesy, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Implement structures, processes, and accountability to deliver exceptional service. Continuously assess and innovate service methods.
Provide ongoing opportunities for team development through training and learning.
Collaborate with teams to set a clear vision, define measurable goals, provide structure, and assign accountability for outcomes.
Work across teams to implement organization-wide priorities, ensuring service quality and efficiency.
Keep the Director informed of all issues, incidents, or areas of concern within the program and the organization.
Oversee Dual Diagnosis, Employment Services and Community Connections programs with a strong focus on the transition and creation of the CPSS/SIL structure.

Preferred Qualifications

A deep understanding and personal commitment to our core values, with the ability to integrate these into daily work practices (required).
A post-secondary Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or other related field of Humanities or Social Sciences, as well as 5 years of experience in a leadership position. High levels of emotional intelligence including self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills.
Outstanding ability to manage interpersonal relationships to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
High level of skill in having performance-related dialogue with employees, and the coaching skills to support employee growth.
Proficiency leveraging technology, with a strong command of Microsoft 365 applications.
