- Oversee and lead the operation of the Photography Department onboard and at Castaway Cay.
- Responsible for the coordination of both the production and sales teams to produce maximum sales by driving financial targets, Guest satisfaction ratings, and the Photography Crew excellence.
- Ensures consistent delivery of all safety and service standards
- Ensures team performance objectives are met through continuous training, development, and mentorship.
- Responsible for the training, scheduling, and performance management of the Photo Crew
- Responsible for driving the sales and conversion strategy for the Photography Department.
- Ensure Crew is able to sell all product offerings (i.e. images, photobooks, private portrait studio, retail, etc.)
- Accountable for driving business results to achieve desired revenue targets
- Ensure every photo generating activity is performed to standards including set up, during Guest interaction, and tear down.
- Supervise lab functions which would include digital images or printing distribution.
- Conduct quality assurance audits of images.
- Ensure all equipment (lab, cameras, backdrops, etc.) are in operational order.
- Partner with Photo Operations Manager to focus on operational process and service level improvements while introducing new and/or enhanced product offerings
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum five years photography experience
- Minimum three years leadership experience, within the last six years
Preferred Qualifications
- Ship experience preferred

This is a SHIPBOARD role.Applicants must:
- Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
- Be committed to the position you are applying for at least 2-3 contracts before a transfer or promotion
- Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency duties and/or associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
- Be willing and able to uphold the general safety management responsibilities specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
- Be willing to follow and embrace United States Public Health requirements and guidelines as well as Environmentality requirements and Company practices
- Be comfortable living in a confined space with strict rules and regulations
- Adhere to a structured lifestyle, personally and professionally
Your Responsibilities:
- Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
- Complete a pre-employment medical
- Obtain a criminal background check
- Bring approved work shoes
