Manager of Hospital Security and Valet

Summary

Job Description:

TheManager of Security & Valet Services has 24-hour responsibility for the oversight and management of the hospital’s Security and Valet programs. This position manages the day-to-day operations of both departments and is responsible for addressing security, safety, and customer service-related issues.

The Manager assists employees, patients, and visitors with security and valet-related matters and provides continuity and communication between the Director, Security Officers, and Valet Attendants. Additional responsibilities include investigating security-related incidents, supporting a safe and welcoming environment, and ensuring a high level of service for patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of security management experience is required, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• BCLS certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Experience with the TASER X26P, including course completion and instructor certification, is preferred; however, required training and certification must be completed after hire if not already obtained.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are highly desired for this key position.
