Would you like to play a key role in improving the efficiency and supporting the growth of Konecranes’ global modernization business? Are you inspired about designing, developing, and continuously improving processes and shaping the future for ways of working?
We are looking for aManager, Modernization Processes to join our BU Service Quality team and further strengthen the development of end-to-end processes for our project-based service business. The team works closely with Product Line Modernizations to support business growth and operational efficiency and is responsible for the processes and systems of the Product Line.
The role can be based flexibly at any Konecranes location, ideally within a European time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end global processes for project-based services, including the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy global modernization processes, procedures, guidelines, and systems
- Create new process documentation and training materials, and maintain existing materials
- Manage system and reporting development requirements related to your process area
- Coordinate and provide system, process, and reporting training and support for business users
- Collaborate with local process owners and other stakeholders to review processes and ensure alignment and end-to-end optimization
- Monitor and improve process performance and compliance in cooperation with Regional and Global Modernization teams
- Act as the Project Management Excellence champion for Industrial Service
- Drive excellence in project management practices across the organization, including project management skills, processes, communication practices, risk and opportunity management, change management, and daily management routines
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in process ownership, process development, or a similar business development role
- Strong project management experience
- Experience in change management and influencing stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Experience in leading system development and implementation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with the industrial business stakeholders and understand the operating environment to be able simplify complex topics.Â
- Fluency in English; other languages are considered an advantage
- Enthusiasm to apply new tools, such as AI, in process development
- Experience in an industrial, engineering or modernization business is highly valued. Candidates from other sectors may also be considered if they have strong evidence of owning and developing large-scale global processes.
- Experience in SAP or similar ERP system. Other systems, like Siebel and Teamcenter are considered an advantage
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, or higher, is considered an advantage
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an advantage
