The Role
WHERE MARKETING MEETS IMPACT
The Manager, Marketing Operations & Events helps the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta’sÂ

The position also supports planning and executing donor, community, and organizational events.Â
Program and business leaders own the event strategy, goals, audiences, and content; this role helpsÂ
bring that strategy to life through strong planning, logistics, production, and coordination.

systems.
• Help establish clear processes, templates, and ways of working that improve efficiency andÂ
accountability across the department.
• Maintain organized repositories of final creative, templates, brand assets, photography, videoÂ
and other MarCom materials so approved files are easy to find, use, and share.
Campaign & Production Coordination
• Coordinate production across campaigns involving content, creative, digital, email, web,Â
social, print, and paid media.
• Manage project timelines, handoffs, and approvals from initial request through final delivery.
• Help ensure teams have the information, assets, and approvals needed to keep work moving.
• Coordinate with internal colleagues, agencies, and vendors to support campaign launchesÂ
and major communications initiatives.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status updates.
Event Planning & Execution
• Support planning and execution for CFGA-hosted and sponsored events.
• Develop event timelines, project plans, production schedules, and run-of-show documents.
• Manage event logistics including venues, catering, audiovisual needs, signage, registration,Â
rentals, and other production requirements.
• Coordinate with speakers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure event details areÂ
complete and on schedule.
• Manage on-site execution and serve as an operational point person during events.
• Coordinate post-event logistics, vendor follow-up, and debriefs.
Vendor & Budget Coordination
• Manage relationships with event vendors, printers, photographers, videographers,Â
production companies, and other marketing suppliers.
• Coordinate estimates, scopes of work, timelines, and deliverables.
• Track project and event expenses against approved budgets.
• Maintain vendor information and help identify strong external partners for recurring needs.
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Build strong working relationships with teams across all departments.
• Help internal partners understand MarCom timelines, responsibilities, and processes.
• Gather necessary information and approvals before projects move into production.
• Serve as a responsive, solutions-oriented point of coordination when timelines or prioritiesÂ
change.
